Process monitoring

FLUORALYS®  allow to follow the process kinetics of a specific production and to characterize critical process steps. With the objective of quality control,  FLUORALYS ® approach permits to act on the process parameters in case of deviation from the quality target.

The spectral distances are measured from a reference, considered as a target quality, whether it’s a raw material, a product before heat treatment , or an end-product .

These distances are measured by the DFR index ( = Distance From Reference ), which reflects the distance of a product to its target. If the distance exceeds a tolerance zone, corrective actions can be envisaged. The accuracy of the DFR index is related to the repeatability of the fluorescence measurement, which depends on the device ( 0.1 % CV ) and the matrix ( the variability related to homogeneity , between 5 and 15 % ) .
